*Deposit for a Custom Ceramic Plate Illustration*

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASE FOR ALL IMPORTANT INFORMATION 
This is a £15 deposit only - This deposit allows me to start talking to you about for the process to receiving a custom illustrative ceramic plate and drawing up a design.
Prices have adjusted to accommodate all of the below 
- a fully customised digital plan (with adjustments)
- a hand-painted unique plate 
- materials / paint + glaze + packing 
- firing costs 
- my time 🥰
Please be aware, the larger the plate the more detail I can fit!

Once I have received  the deposit I will put you on my list of plate orders and reserve the type of plate you’ve requested.  The deposit is to make sure that I cover the cost of my materials to make the piece, as I cannot sell a custom piece if you back out for any reason. 
Please select the free shipping option for this deposit. If you pay for postage at this stage I will refund you - but I cannot refund the entire amount due to the wix website taking a processing fee. 
The current final prices for the custom plates are :
£120 - 20CM rimmed round plate 
£120 - 23cm flat display round plate
£130 - 26cm heart plate 
£140 - 27cm petal plate
£140 - 27cm rimmed round plate
£150 - 30cm rectangular serving plate (limited stock) 
£195 - 35.5cm rimmed Oval platter 
The £15 deposit will be taken off of the final price of your plate. When the plate is fully finished and back from the kiln I will upload a separate listing with this final price and send specifically it to you to purchase. 
I do now charge an additional £8 per small pet portrait to be included as part of your plate design if you want them, this is because they take me a lot longer than regular florals to sit and paint with a tinyyyy paintbrush to make sure I can replicate the pets likeness. This is added towards your final plate total.
Uk Shipping is usually between £8 - £12 depending on the size of plate and international is £35/£40. Please allow plenty of time for your plate to be posted. UK delivery can take up to a week, international can take up to 3 -4 weeks. Your plate will be carefully packed and posted to you standard tracked. Shipping is additional to the final total of your plate and will be added when you purchase the plate once it’s fully finished.

I usually ask for :
- The Names of the couple 
- Date of the wedding / birthday / engagement / event 
- Photos of the main illustration you want in the centre of the plate - this could be the wedding venue or somewhere really important to the couple
- colour you’d like the illustration painted (blue, green, black, dark teal, purple or pink). Just let me know if you have any other colours in mind and we can discuss it 😀
- let me know if you want anything written on the back
If you want anything else incorporated just let me know and we can chat about it! ☺️✨ with all of these details I will create a digital mock up design and send it over to you on Instagram to confirm you like the design, from here you can ask for any changes to be made. Once you have confirmed the design I will sketch and paint it on the plate and then send another photo. Finally, I will take it off to the kiln as soon as I can to be glazed and fired. This firing process can take up to three weeks as I don’t own my own kiln.
Current wait for a illustrative custom plate to be completed is up to 2/3 months due to increase of requests. But I do work as quick as possible and will try to accommodate shorter deadlines where I can. 
Please be aware that there is always a small chance that your plate may crack/break/chip/have an issue with the glaze while being fired - this is an unpredictable element of ceramics that i have no control of. If this sadly occurs I will let you know straight away and repaint and/or refire the plate asap, there will be no additional charge of a second plate if the first breaks in the kiln. 
I will open a limited number of slots for commissions at a time, this makes sure I don’t get swamped with too many all at once.  Thank you!!
